Harbor Center

The Harbor Center is a multi-use facility in Buffalo, NY that contains a Marriott Hotel, two regulation-size hockey rinks (main rink capacity: 1800; practice rink capacity: 200), coaching and training facilities, a two-story sports bar, five levels of parking, and various retail facilities. We took the lead in the AV needs of the Harbor Center, providing sound systems for the main rink, practice rink, training gym, and common areas. We also outfitted the arenas with live television broadcast capabilities and connectivity to the neighboring First Niagara Center. For the hotel we provided AV and control systems for the lobby level, including two ballrooms, two meeting rooms, a board room, the lobby, and a bar/restaurant, all centrally operated via a Crestron control system. Though exciting, this project was challenging, being brought on site just two months before the arenas opened. Even with the tight schedule, it was completed on time and on budget.
