Family Life Ministries

In 2024 we were contracted to replace the existing sound system in the Family Life Ministries Multipurpose Venue in Bath, NY. Designed by AVL consultants in Rochester, NY this LRC system features Fulcrum Acoustic speakers, Ashly amplification, and QSYS signal processing/routing. The Family Life Multipurpose Venue is mostly used for ticketed theatrical and music productions, so having a uniform experience across the wide venue was the main goal for this upgrade. This implementation of an LRC system is intended to provide a clear stereo image across a wide field of coverage. There are eleven speakers across the front essentially grouped into two stereo sets, these are reinforced by four delay speakers again in two stereo sets. The QSYS DSP allowed us to give each speaker its own unique mix and delay settings in order to create a coherent audio image throughout the venue. We removed the existing system, installed new cabling and tuned the new system with just under five days of downtime for the venue. The implementation of this system was a success and greatly improved the audience’s experience with clear stereo imaging regardless of where their seat is located.
